What is a fireproof mat/grill mat/fire pit mat?
A fireproof mat is a safety product made from fire resistant materials, such as fiberglass.
It is designed to be placed under barbecues, fireplaces, fire pits, or other heat sources.
The mat effectively prevents sparks from splashing and blocks sparks, ash, or heat from directly contacting flammable materials below, thereby reducing the risk of fire.
It is not only suitable for outdoor use, enhancing safety and reducing the possibility of fire, but can also be used in homes and workplaces as a preventative measure.
In the event of an initial fire outbreak, the fireproof mat can also serve as a fire blanket to help extinguish small fires.

Fireproof mats are an important safety accessory in any situation where there’s a risk of fire or heat damage,providing an extra layer of protection to keep surfaces and environments safe.
How to maintain the fireproof mats/grill mats/fire pit mats?
- After use, please remove dirt and ensure it is completely dry (we have designed hanging holes on the product for easy airing and hanging).
- Storing in a damp environment may lead to discoloration, mildew, corrosion, and aging of the product.
- Do not use organic solvents, as they may cause the product to fade or change color.
- Avoid placing this product in high-temperature, humid environments; it is recommended to store in a cool, ventilated environment.
- When disposing of the product, please follow local environmental protection requirements.
Important Notes
- This product is a flame-retardant mat with effective thermal insulation. When high-temperature objects are placed on the product for an extended period, heat may be transferred through the mat to the ground below.
- Avoid contact with sharp objects. The support legs of some fire pits or wood stoves can be quite sharp and may damage the product. For product protection, consider folding the mat or using it in a way that avoids sharp points.
- Please inspect the product before use. Do not use if you find any holes or damage. Depending on the frequency and conditions of use, the surface may discolor or become damaged over time. Be aware and understand that discoloration may also occur where small sparks from fire pits or wood stoves burn the surface of the mat.
- If the product material is fiberglass, please be sure to wear gloves during use. Direct skin contact with fiberglass may cause an allergic reaction.
Warning
- Do not burn directly on the fireproof mat. This item is designed to be placed under heat sources such as fire pits or wood stoves. Direct burning or using it above the recommended temperature can damage the product and may even cause a fire.
- If burning materials such as charcoal fire onto the mat, please clean it up immediately.
- After use, make sure the fire source is completely extinguished to avoid the risk of re-ignition.
- Avoid contact with corrosive substances to prevent the product from aging prematurely.
- If the product is damaged or shows any signs of abnormality, stop using it immediately to prevent accidents.
- Keep children and pets away from the area of use to avoid burns or cuts.
